Error and Warning Messages Basics
For most, crime information is entered into a local system with ease. These incidents may not get flagged and are transferred to the statewide crime database known as ICRIME with no issue. But why do certain error or warning messages appear within an uploaded file within ICRIME? The answer is incompatible or illogical information.
To start, the ICRIME system isn’t magic nor does it randomly generate messages. The system was developed with careful strategy. In this course, you’ll learn:
- How to get in front of as many errors or warnings by improving your knowledge base.
- The basics, like defining an error and warning.
- The meanings/descriptions of the messages.
- How to correct/modify any identified incidents.
